HEBRIDEAN WAY CYCLE TRANSFERS
If you are taking on the Hebridean Way, we are ready to assist you to return to your departure port, from the Butt of Lewis to Eriskay.
 

We are able to carry up to 6 cycles and passengers in one vehicle.

Additional transport is available for larger groups.

Monday to Saturday only.  Trip sharing welcome.

Bicycling

  • Travel commencing before 7am Monday to Friday and all day Saturday will incur a 25% additional charge.

  • Electric Bikes will incur an additional 10% levy for the whole journey and be limited to 4.

  • Please also intimate if you are happy to share the journey with other cyclists as this will reduce costs for all travellers

  • For Leverburgh to Berneray ferry crossings, collection times prior to sailing are as follows: Butt of Lewis 3 hours; Stornoway 2 hours.

  • Leverburgh ferry departures during June, July & August are 0815 or 1045. For April, May & September 0825 or 11.40  

  • For cyclists wishing to travel from Lewis to Barra, transportation is in 2 parts:  Lewis to Leverburgh and Berneray to Eriskay.  

  • The service terminates at Eriskay Ferry Terminal.  This requires the Barra leg to be cycled from Ardmhor to Castlebay.

  • Please ensure you have purchased your passenger tickets on both ferries, especially during July.

With capacity for up to 8 passengers, Hebridean Travel provides transport services from Stornoway across the Outer Hebrides and beyond.  Minimum mileage of 10 miles applies within Stornoway town centre.  Advance Bookings only.

 

Transfer Services from Stornoway Airport also available.

Hebridean Life Tours offers 6 hour private tours of Lewis & Harris, based on your preferences or prescribed routes, visiting some the landmarks of the islands and some lesser-known attractions.. We cater for groups of up to 8 people.  Our guides are Lewis born and bred, providing you with experience of island life, culture, history and the Gaelic language. Monday to Saturday only.

Attraction entrance fees are not included in the above.
